Drawing and Painting Workshops for Key Stage 2 Children with Caro Ward.

A unique opportunity for your school to participate in a stimulating workshop that is both educational and fun! Ideally suited to Key Stage 2 children.

Caro has worked extensively throughout schools in Kirklees, as well as working with art galleries and has given demonstrations to many art societies across the region.

Times: 10 am – 12am & 1pm - 3pm

Price: £10 per child 2 hour session

  • Providing children with an experience of working in a gallery with the artist to engage the class in looking at the themes and techniques used in the artwork within the exhibition.

  • Artist led creative activities and demonstrations to draw out the learning opportunities and themes within the exhibition.

  • The workshops will include painting, drawing techniques and fun activities to develop hand to eye co-ordination, use of colour, an understanding of design and use of mark making.
